NAPO WDC GO Month Event
GO Month is back to WDC, with a May 14 event at the Silver Spring Civic Center!
Thursday, May 14, 9:30-11:00 am
Coffee and pastries will be served.
In connection with Mental Health Awareness Month, Past President Jill Katz will present on how professional organizers support community members living with mental and emotional health challenges and those who care for them. She will also discuss how those strategies apply more broadly. Participants will have a chance to talk with Jill and other organizers to learn more, as well as to learn about a wonderful community partner, Habitat Restore.
Registration: Free to members and guests.
In lieu of tickets, registrants are asked to bring items to donate to Habitat Restore.

Jill Katz, CPO® is a Certified Professional Organizer® & Founder of One to Zen Organizing, LLC, where she serves the neurodivergent community and those going through life transitions by helping them declutter their physical, mental, and temporal spaces. She believes in creating individualized strategies that lean on mindful and strength-based techniques.
Jill is an active member of the National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals (NAPO), and our Washington DC (NAPO-WDC) Chapter, where she served as President for three years as well as Director of Membership for three years. Jill is also active in the Institute For Challenging Disorganization (ICD), where she currently serves as a member of their Research Committee Project. She holds certificates of study in Chronic Disorganization (ICD), Life Transitions (ICD & NAPO), ADHD (ICD), Time Management & Productivity (ICD), Residential Organizing (NAPO), and Household Management (NAPO), and she take courses every year to keep up with the latest apps, strategies and tools to help clients with their organizing challenges. She was also awarded the 2021 NAPO-WDC Organizer of the Year.
