Strategic Thinking:

Birthing What is Next For Your Business

Agenda

This presentation will help small business owners explore opportunities to develop a product, service or shift in their business offerings in the next two to three years. It will provide an overview of the Change Model and introduce a few strategic thinking tools to help attendees assess what may be ahead. Participants will shift their perspective from business as usual to gather information on what they’d like to accomplish in the near future. Aligning with what is most important will help participants evaluate business opportunities so that they're able to maximize discretionary time and get started on big, elusive goals more easily.

During this presentation, participants will:

  • Complete a gap analysis and a strengths review.
  • Brainstorm and prioritize potential tasks and projects and consider the effort, impact and payoff of each.
  • Create a realistic action plan to get started on their next project.

Speaker

Cena Block is the founder of Sane Spaces LLC and a business and life coach. She is also the creator of the first online productivity personality assessment: the Time & Space Style Inventory (TSSITM). Block offers coaching, consulting and workshops.

Block's areas of expertise include career and self-development, time management, process improvement, management and employee skills, entrepreneurship, life-balance, team communication, supervisory skills, customer service and leadership.

The Time & Space Style Inventory (TSSITM) is the first online productivity assessment tool for business professionals, educators and consultants to help diagnose, mitigate and remedy organizing and time management behaviors. The tool helps people to identify and define their natural style preferences, strengths, blind spots and flow actions in an effort to help them reduce time tension, clutter and disorganization.
