The SSNG will not be meeting at its regularly scheduled date and time in June. Instead, we are going on a field trip!
We are scheduled for a tour at the Shady Grove Transfer Station at 11:00 am on Friday, June 10, 2022. We will meet outside at the main entrance to the administrative building at 10:45 am. If you are interested in joining us, please email Silvia Balderas at TellMeMore@ylsimplified.com no later than June 3 . I have reserved 10 spots, but I might be able to add more if others are interested in joining us. DC residents and Virginians are welcome!
After the tour, we will go to lunch and talk about what we learned. Parking may be tight, so carpooling is suggested. Shady Grove Metro is also within walking distance to the Transfer Station.
