Presentation

Hailing from Melrose, MA, Certified Professional Organizer® and longtime Virtual Organizer Kathy Vines of Clever Girl Organizing® will share her lessons learned and best practices from offering Virtual Organizing to clients across the globe. From “how do I even get clients?” to “so, now that I have a client, what do I do?”, we’ll walk through all sorts of considerations that you can think through to determine if Virtual Organizing is right for YOU and YOUR business. Spoiler alert: Some people walk away realizing they never considered this before but can now totally do this, and some people walk away understanding that it turns out, Virtual Organizing is just not for them! Clarity is Kathy’s goal, and this session will help you get there!

New members and veteran organizers will gain insight into the characteristics that make for an ideal virtual client and the specific skills that organizers must have in order to add virtual services to their portfolio.

This session will cover:

1) Organizer “fit”: Is this the right model for YOU as an organizer?

2) Client Acquisition & intake: where and how are you getting customers and ensuring they’re a good fit for this model?

3) Session methodology: from prep work to homework, how to structure the sessions

4) Back Office and Infrastructure: what do you need to have in place to make this service offering work for you?

Inclement Weather Policy

In the event of bad weather, we will only cancel if power is out for necessary meeting managers, in which case, meeting registrants will be emailed.
