MEETINGS

Monthly meetings of the Washington, DC Metro Chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers are designed to share organizing knowledge and resources among members, as well as offer an opportunity to network. Programs are varied to appeal to both seasoned and novice organizers.

The meetings are usually held the first Monday night of the month unless that date is a secular or religious holiday. The meetings may be rescheduled if National or local chapter events conflict with our regular schedule. In addition, we follow Montgomery (for Bethesda) or Fairfax (for Tyson's Corner) County snow policy. In the event of inclement weather, first listen to the radio or TV for local school closings. If you need to phone, call 202-362-6276 for up-to-date meeting information.

Meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. with an ”Ask the Expert„ session, an informal gathering of new organizers who receive free advice on owning an organizing business from members of the Golden Circle, a prestigious designation within NAPO for experienced organizers. The chapter’s business meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. The NAPO-WDC Chapter does not meet in July or August.
